• No account, no tracking cookies. We do not set cookies for visitors, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking.
• Server and security logs. Like any website, our servers and our network provider (Cloudflare) process technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use it only to deliver the site, prevent abuse and fix errors.
• Anonymous page counts. We count which pages are opened (the page address, its language and the time) to see what people need. No cookie, IP address or device information is stored with a count, and nothing is counted when your browser sends “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control. Counts are deleted after 180 days.
• Searches, votes and reports. Search words, “Was this helpful?” votes and problem reports are stored without your name or IP address. Patterns that look like ID card numbers, phone numbers or email addresses are removed from the text. Searches, votes and reports are deleted after one year (for a report, one year after it was last sent). To count one person only once, a report keeps a one-way keyed hash of your address for one day, separately from the report.
• Error reports. If a page fails in your browser, the error message and the page address are sent to us so we can fix it, without anything that identifies you. Closed error records are deleted after 90 days.
• On your device. Your language choice and whether you already voted on a page are remembered in your browser only (local storage). They are never sent to us and are not cookies.
• Rate limiting. To protect the service, request counters are kept per IP address for about one minute.

• Questions are stored without your name, account or IP address, to improve answers and find missing information, and are deleted after one year. Questions and searches that are repeated on several different days may be shown as “popular” on the homepage.
• Patterns that look like ID card numbers, phone numbers or email addresses are removed before storage. Please do not include personal details in questions.
• When an answer needs it, the question text is sent to our AI provider (OpenRouter and the model company it routes to) without any information that identifies you. Each answer gets a link that only you receive; anyone you give it to can open it.

• Team members sign in with an invited account. We store their name, email, a securely hashed password and, where enabled, an encrypted two-factor secret.
• Admin sessions use one strictly necessary, secure cookie that is not readable by scripts.
• For accountability, every admin action is recorded permanently in an audit log: who did it, what changed and when. Sign-in records store a one-way keyed hash of the IP address rather than the address itself.
